POSITION : Outside Operations Supervisor DEPARTMENT : Golf Operations

Summary Of Position : Assists the Director of Golf and the Head Golf Professional in management of outside golf operations.

Provides direction for the standards of service to be at a peak level of performance at all times. Trains, coaches, and develops outside staff to provide an exceptional experience for all members and guests, and in accordance with Human Resource policies and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Manages all outside staff and ensures they are performing the required tasks for their position.

Creates and maintains schedules for both Founders and Prestwick.

Proactively manage daily workflow to maximize productivity.

Assists in training new and existing outside service staff members.

Assists in the development of standards and maintains responsibility for cleanliness for the entire golf operation.

Performs starter shifts and outside service shifts when needed.

Conducts staff meetings in conjunction with Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional.

Practices core values in accordance with customer service programs.

Studies the tournament / event calendar so as to be able to communicate details with Members / Guests.

Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times.

Ensures all members and guests are greeted and welcomed in a professional and courteous manner.

Provide impeccably cleaned and perfectly maintained golf carts for the players and maintain the appropriate records for maintenance.

Maintains organization and service standards daily.

Conducts daily inspections of entire golf facility.

Lead by example, always.

Assist the Golf Professional Staff with on course assistance as requested.

Assist fellow teammates to ensure the highest quality of member and guest service.

Greet all Members and Guests by name (Last name) and in a professional and friendly manner.

Develops relationship with course Maintenance Superintendent to ensure proper scheduling of golfers and optimum play conditions.

Performs any other functions deemed necessary by the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional, and the General Manager.

This position may also include other tasks not mentioned above.

Reporting Relationship

Reports to : Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional

Education / Experience :

Ø High School Diploma or equivalent

Ø Previous experience preferred.

Ø Previous retail experience preferred.

Ø Good customer service skills

Language Ability :

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

Math Ability :

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Reasoning Ability :

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
